Remembrances and Acknowledgments #7
Today is All Saints’ Day.
It is a day when we are to remember and honor the saints who have gone before us— those who were officially named as saints as well as those unofficial saints of our daily lives.
One of the remarkable things that we learn when we study the lives of saints is that they were ordinary people like you and me.
What set each of them apart was their coming to know the presence of God in their lives, and their choosing to Live in God’s Holy Thoughts— otherwise known as the LIGHT.
They lived their lives as journeys home to the heart of God.
Isn’t it amazing that each of us has the opportunity to make that same choice with our life?
Which of us will be remembered and honored as the saints of our times?
